Holders of diplomatic, official passports and UNLP

Holders of official, diplomatic passports UNLP are requested to send email to consular.ktm@mfa.go.th to make an appointment for visa application and submit required documents directly at the Embassy after receiving an appointment date.

Please note: All visa applicants are requested to submit All the required documents via e-mail in advance. Once the Embassy has reviewed them, the applicants will be informed and where necessary provided an appointment.

Citizen of Nepal who wish to travel and visit to Royal Thailand are required for a Visa either traveling by air or land or from overseas. 

Following documentation required for visa processing from Kathmandu through the Royal Thai Embassy.

• A valid passport must be valid for at least 6 months following your departure dates.
• Recent taken 3 copy of passport size photos.
• Original Bank statement with the minimum 100000 rupees (20000 to 30000 Thai Bhat) balance (for first time travelers)
• Tour package itinerary with conform hotel booking.
• Visa application cost (5100 rupees+VFS service charge- only for Nepali citizen) per person.
• Conform Flight Ticket
• Proof of Covid-19 Vaccine sertificate.
  
  
  Visa processing time: 3 to 5 working days. However the rules and regulation under controlled by Thai Embassy of Nepal. So, we suggest you to apply earlier at least a month before.
  
  Visa duration: Its very depend of Thai Embassy, generally you will get 30 days to 90 days single entry/multiple entry  tourist visa.  The visa is not eligible for work and business purpose.
